Ted is a composer and music producer whose work bridges the emotional depth of orchestral composition with the creative edge of electronic sound design. His musical journey began early, performing in his school orchestra and achieving Trinity Grade 6 in drums by age 14. After studying electronic music production at Exeter College—where he graduated with Distinction—Ted went on to specialise in Music and Sound for Film and Television at dBs Institute in Bristol.

With a strong foundation in both classical and contemporary production techniques, Ted’s music is rooted in storytelling. His orchestral work often centres around rich harmonies, evocative melodies, and dynamic textures that heighten emotional impact. At the same time, he incorporates electronic elements—such as ambient layers, rhythmic pulses, and detailed soundscapes—to create hybrid scores that feel modern and immersive.

A core part of Ted’s creative approach is worldizing—not in the traditional acoustic sense, but through musical world-building. Whether scoring a real location, a fictional landscape, or an abstract emotional space, he excels at crafting themes and sonic environments that bring worlds to life. This makes his music particularly well-suited to film, television, and games, where a strong sense of place and atmosphere is vital to the narrative experience.

Ted has scored two short films and a game always with a focus on enhancing story and emotion through sound. Beyond his screen work, he produces ambient music and is an active drum and bass artist with songs signed to respected label's, showcasing his versatility and passion for sound across genres.
